UNLIKELY HEROES is a 501c3 non-profit organization that exists to identify, rescue and rehabilitate child victims of sex slavery worldwide.

Our Mission is to rescue, restore and rehabilitate child victims of sex slavery through the implementation of restoration homes, rescue and prevention programs worldwide.   Unlikely Heroes currently operates a restoration home for child survivors of sex slavery in the Philippines. The Unlikely Heroes home in the Philippines has become an oasis of hope and healing to the children who are high-risk for trafficking and for child survivors who are now living in safety and receiving the life skills, job training, education, and therapeutic treatment services they need to recover.

According to local officials, Unlikely Heroes is one of the first organizations to provide any type of support services to child victims of sex slavery in this area of the Philippines. Unlikely Heroes is also in the midst of pioneering additional rescue and restoration projects internationally. Our next home will open in Mexico in fall, 2013. Our vision is to see every boy and girl, who has been sold for sex, given access to the protective shelters and specialized services needed to stop cycles of victimization. We want to provide each child with the therapeutic treatment, education and opportunities they need to move forward into recovery.

Additionally, Unlikely Heroes is currently working in partnership with other non-profit organizations in the United States, Philippines and Mexico to see child victims who have been sold for sex rescued, protected and rehabilitated.
