“I was first abused when I was only seven years old. When I was ten, my traffickers forced me to leave school to “work” for them full time. I was devastated because I loved learning and playing with my friends at school. It was the only time I felt normal. After several years, I was rescued from my traffickers and placed in an Unlikely Heroes home where I’m safe. Now, I’m learning again. I love being in school and it’s my dream to become a counselor so that I can help other girls like me.”
