After years of being forced to sell her body as a child slave, she is now free and in the safety of our Unlikely Heroes home! She was very quiet and terrified of being alone when she first entered our home, but now she is meeting with our team psychologist to help her cope with her trauma and fears. She said that she is so grateful to be safe and to no longer be alone. She is on the slow and difficult road to recovery, but she couldn’t be happier to have the support and love of our Unlikely Heroes team at Courage House in Mexico.
