Meet Our Director of Courage Home, Mexico

Alma M. Tucker is the founder and president of the International Network of Hearts (INH). She has more than 15 years of experience assisting victims of abuse and human trafficking. INH is a nongovernmental organization based in Tijuana, B.C. and San Diego, CA that supports survivors of human trafficking and provides training and education at an interdisciplinary and bi-national level. Alma is also the founder of Casa del Jardin, the only group home in Baja California designed for young girls recovering from human trafficking.

For more than a decade, Alma worked as an investigative officer for the Child Protection Unit with the Mexican Consulate General based in San Diego, California. She serves as an academic honorary member of the National Commission of the Ministry of Interior to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Human Trafficking in the City of Mexico. Alma received her graduate degree in clinical psychology from the University Center of Technical and Superior Education (CETYS) in Baja California, Mexico.
