Jenifer has more than 15 years of experience directing, building and managing residential treatment facilities for youth and young adults. After 10 years of managing more than 20 group homes that were home to abused and troubled youth in the US, Jen and her husband Jeremy moved to Thailand to rescue children from sex slavery, and to build a loving home environment for children to recover.
As the Director of Thrive Home, Thailand – Jen oversees a first-class trauma recovery home, develops and runs rescue and reintegration projects and creates training and education materials for schools, government officials and other restoration homes. She is also currently working on expanding the model of restorative aftercare to more nations so that many children can live in restorative environments.
Jenifer is a big believer that in order to provide the most effective aftercare for child survivors of trafficking, there must be a solid and quality standard of care set. Full restoration begins when care programs fully devote themselves to provide the best care possible. She wants to see all survivors of child sex trafficking thriving in their new life!
Jen loves to travel and befriend locals. She can go from a business meeting to a village in the blink of an eye and is always up for an adventure! If you can’t find her, just look for the nearest quirky coffee shop sitting and dreaming about the future with one of our rescued kids.
