Rebecca BenderSurvivor Advocate

Rebecca Bender is a Survivor Leader in the efforts to eradicate modern day slavery. Escaping a life of forced prostitution in 2007, Rebecca has dedicated her life to helping change the mindset of our culture. Her first book, Roadmap to Redemption, is one of a kind; a workbook for survivors by a survivor! It has been applied across the world including the USA, Israel, Italy, Europe and the UK.

Rebecca’s passion for cultural change and awareness of sex trafficking is evident in her ability to articulate and express the knowledge she has gained while exploited. She trains and speaks at conferences world wide including a variety of audiences such as Law Enforcement, Attorney Generals, FBI, Community Service Providers, Advocates and more. Her curriculum includes “Inside The Mind of a Victim,” “Bystander to Advocate” and “Law Enforcement Edition,” as well as her own personal story of triumph. Additionally, she consults and builds individual curriculum for safe homes and mentors girls around the world. She is the recipient of the Recognizing Heroes Award and Female Overcomer Award. She is also a member of the National Survivor Network as well as the Survivor Leader Institute.

Rebecca is a leading expert in Sex Trafficking, not only because of her vast knowledge, but her ability to take her own personal story of living through nearly six years of being trafficked, and turn it into insightful, eye opening trainings, discussion and hands on change.

On her free time, you can find her busy with her husband and their four lively daughters.
